I want to first start off this post by saying that I am an incredibly lucky woman to be able to photograph such beauty. I love shooting bridals and engagements because I can see such youth and a storm of such profound love these individuals have for each other. I think it is all in the eyes. Yiddish Proverbs tell us that the eyes are the mirror to the soul. I can see it in everyone of my shoots, and hopefully I am able to express this to the audience. Every single couple has their beauty and own distinct personalities. Once in a while, a rare beauty comes along that emulates the Proverb to it’s full capacity. To me, eyes, are very potent, and with Naomi…..well….you will see what I mean. Did she have her makeup professionally done…no. Did she have her hair professional mastered…no. Cause she did not need it. She wore very little makeup, and let her eyes tell us the rest.
Here is the first half of the series.
The next two are our own little version of Twilight.
I attending my very first wedding in years as a guest. My good friend and incredibly talented friend Tara got hitched on a ranch in east Texas. This place was not only drop dead beautiful, but I had not seen so many stars in ages. I loved it. It was my first solo trip in years. But putting myself aside, Tara was so blessed by beauty. She is a goddess in every sense of that word. Beautiful outside and into the core. Her style, well I could talk about that all in a different blog entry, so lets let the pictures do it for you. Congrats Eric and Tara!
Every woman must experience a boudoir shoot. It is the most liberating feeling. They are a pure expression of art. That and I can’t help to see my legs and see how much they remind me of my mothers.
